For us civilians, can you please list off the enlistment requirements for the various branches, and what makes them different from one another?
Mobile infantry in particular just seems very much like the "traditional" army from my layman's eyes.

And Greene12, I'm not sure quite what you're referring to but I took the NG exam ages ago and never heard a peep back from them.
Hope you have better luck.

That exam is what I'm talking about, and i did just get it. Supposedly the higher branches don't like it is people havent gone through the training division, either way I've finished with it.

the different branches and their requirements can be found in the wiki, or through this link:
http://wiki.erepublik.com/index.php/United_States_of_America#Military_Organization

I plan on applying for the MI in just a bit, hopefully they aren't completely swamped with apps right now.

No strength requirement is listed on the wiki for the "standard" army. Anyone know what it is? I'm a nit above 6 strength, and ranked lieutenant.

So guys, I would like advice on this from everyone. From what I've heard the army is factious and disorganized. Is there anyone on this board who has experience in the army and can comment?

Im actually in the eArmy, and they are really organized. All the branches are for the most part.

For information on up to date requirements go here:

http://milforum.us/forum/index.php

go to no mans land and you will see how to join each respective branch.

I think MI is 6, AF is 8, and Marines are 10 (Strength)

The Marines are 14+ now.

That's how I got in. <_>'

Edit: Or was it 10+? Maybe I'm thinking of 14+ being the tanking requirements.

Whoever knows all of the requirements for the different branches, can you please post it up? I'll add it to the original thread for easy access.
